Mary Claire is a fully certified mediator. She has a diploma in mediation (distinction). She is a certified member of the Mediators Institute of Ireland which is the professional association for mediators in Ireland . All of this experience has assisted her greatly in practice as a mediator. Mary Claire has considerable experience of the successful application of mediation in many sectors.
 
Mary Claire McCarthy is also fully insured as a mediator.
Having received an honours law degree from UCC in 2000, she continued her studies and trained to be a solicitor and was thus admitted to the role of solicitors in February 2005 and has since qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales. However, she does not give legal advice, people frequently benefit from her extensive experience both as a mediator and solicitor. She qualified as a mediator in 2010 and thus has extensive experience in preparing legally binding agreements for clients.

Importantly, with our unique service, you can avail of the valuable experience gained in practice as a solicitor over the past number of years. Mary Claire has dealt with disputes on behalf of individuals in district, circuit and High courts as well as bringing motions before numerous County Registrars. Thus, she understands the pressures, time and expenses each party can encounter in resolving disputes through the court system.

Finally, Mary Claire also went through the mediation process herself. Thankfully, the matter was resolved amicably through mediation. Hence she understands why people might be nervous about attending. However, she aims to put you at your ease at the first meeting.
